Where to Start for Maricopa County Records
For current county jail custody, start with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office. MCSO's main office is 550 West Jackson, Phoenix, Arizona 85003, with a main phone number of 602-876-1000. Jail information and SIMS use 602-876-0322, the same jail information number listed across MCSO facility pages. For release pickup or self-surrender, the practical hub is the Intake, Transfer and Release Facility at 2670 South 28th Drive, Phoenix, AZ 85009. Fourth Avenue Jail at 201 South 4th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85003 is the downtown bond and fine location. Published MCAO public-records kiosk hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, closed most major holidays; the research did not locate a separate MCSO records-counter schedule.
- For someone in MCSO county jail custody, use jail inmate records and the official MCSO InmateInfo search. If the online search fails, call SIMS at 602-876-0322 or use the Maricopa County public-records request portal.
- For booking photographs, use jail roster mugshots and MCSO's public Mugshot page. A mugshot is not proof of conviction, and visual records may be redacted under Arizona law.
- For charges filed after arrest, use court records after a jail arrest, the Superior Court criminal case search, Justice Courts case search, or the Clerk of Superior Court records process.

- For immigration detention, use ICE ODLS. No dedicated ICE detention center was confirmed inside Maricopa County in the research, and a failed ODLS search does not always prove that no immigration custody issue exists.
