Because the research says a majority of Towers inmates are unsentenced pretrial detainees, the court record can be just as important as the jail record. Initial appearance, bond conditions, case filing, and future hearing dates may appear through Superior Court, Justice Court, or a municipal court depending on the case. About Towers Jail

Towers has six separate housing units. Each housing unit has four pods, and each pod can house up to 30 inmates. Its older design and lower listed capacity distinguish it from newer or larger MCSO facilities such as Watkins and Lower Buckeye.

MCSO lists Towers at 720 beds and describes it as the oldest operating jail facility in the system and the lowest-capacity jail. Those facts make it different from Lower Buckeye's medical and mental-health footprint, Estrella's women's custody role, and Watkins' newer direct-supervision model. For practical planning, confirm current housing before relying on the Towers address. General incoming mail uses Lower Buckeye's central mailroom, social visitation is remote video through ViaPath/GettingOut, and inmates cannot receive incoming phone calls. If a person is released from MCSO custody, release processing points back to ITR, not Towers. That is why the lookup result and SIMS line matter before travel.

Towers' pretrial population makes bond and court checks important. A person can remain in custody because of a bond amount, a no-bond order, an immigration hold, another agency hold, or ongoing release processing. MCSO says bond payment does not override such holds. Superior Court also warns against bond-payment scams and says criminal bonds are posted in person through MCSO, not through electronic payment apps.

If a Towers inmate cannot be found online, the fallback should follow the access-channel sweep.
